Sushi Be Restaurant designed by De Leo & Drasnar Architects is located in Biella, Italy. The biggest challenge in this project was to combine Japanese tradition with Italian design to appeal to local customers. Inspired by dynamic structures and natural curves resembling the waves or clouds, the one of a kind unique ceiling is the focal point of the interior. To complement wood décor, Other Furniture® was in partnership to develop and manufacture high quality wood furniture for the whole restaurant.
We designed a new collection called Biella which consisted of dining chairs and barstools made of solid teak and genuine Italian leather. With close collaboration with designers, we created an exclusive sushi bar that cannot be found anywhere else in the North Italy region.
